Kar Cave

It is really nice to finally have a place of my own in the house. I love coming to this room to watch my own TV show, read quietly, work on a project or just get some peace and quiet. I finished painting the cherry blossom tree on the wall today. I think those trees are so peaceful to look at.

Sweet treats

I won a baby cakes cake pop maker last Christmas. I made these red velvet patriotic pops covered in white chocolate glaze to add to our 4th of July fun. I made the ice cream cup years ago at color me mine. It is filled with rice to hold up the pops and makes a good container.

card crafting

I have been making my own cards lately. my bff, Jen, let me borrow lots of stampin up supplies, and she gave me lots of stuff to get me started for my birthday. i was inspired by her because she has such a creative mind and makes beautiful things. i set up the downstairs room as my craft room, or , KarCave, so i can have a place in the house to call my own. i really needed a creative outlet and this has been helping to destress me. it gets my mind off the daily worries. i plan to start watercolor and sketching too.
